FTISLAND - LEE HONG GI
FTISLAND’s leader and vocalist, LEE HONG GI, is set to reinterpret PSY’s lesser-known track “비오니까” (Because it’s raining) with his own unique emotional style.
LEE HONG GI will release his single “비오니까” on July 6 at 6 PM (KST) as part of the music project “오늘의 선곡” (Song of the Day), available on all major streaming platforms.
“오늘의 선곡” is a music project that features both high-quality original tracks and remakes of timeless classics. The song “비오니까”, originally released in PSY’s 4th studio album back in 2006, conveys the complex emotions of someone who, on a rainy day, suddenly finds themselves calling an old flame.
LEE HONG GI is well known for his ability to infuse remakes with his own vocal color and emotional depth, earning him a strong presence in listeners’ playlists. With this new version of “비오니까”, he is expected to once again deliver a powerful portrayal of heartbreak through his clear and heartfelt vocals.
In addition, LEE HONG GI remains active in the music scene, regularly performing at music festivals and university events.
His band, FTISLAND, will also be holding a solo concert titled “2025 FTISLAND LIVE ‘MAD HAPPY’” on August 23–24.
