His 3rd studio album, set to be released on July 10 at noon KST, features 12 carefully selected tracks, chosen by KANG HYUN ROK himself from over 500 songs he has written over the past three decades. The album showcases a wide range of rock-based genres, classic rock, pop rock, rock ballad, crossover, and acoustic rock, deeply capturing his personal and artistic identity.
The title track, “싸울아비” (Warrior), is a rock song that expresses an unwavering determination not to crumble in the face of a harsh world, along with a near-inevitable sense of duty to be a guiding light for others. KANG HYUN ROK’s clear tone, soaring high notes, and rich middle range deliver a stunning vocal performance that gives listeners chills.
