WAYV is set to unveil a fresh musical palette with its mini-album “BIG BANDS.”

WAYV will soon present a new collection of diverse songs through its seventh mini-album, “BIG BANDS”.
Comprising six tracks, including the title song “Big bands” in both Korean and Chinese versions, the album will be released on all major music platforms on July 18 at 1 PM KST.
Among the album’s tracks, “Your song (你的歌)” stands out with its rhythmic groove and acoustic guitar melody. The lyrics deliver a heartfelt message of hope and unity, being a light for each other even in darkness, and running together toward a shared dream. The song was composed by KENZIE, the hitmaker behind “Give me that”, the song that gave WAYV their first win on a music show. Member KUN also contributed to the lyrics, adding a layer of emotional sincerity.
Another standout track is “Ice tea”, a high-energy English-language song with an addictive chorus and festive party vibes. It showcases WAYV’s versatility as they seamlessly blend rap and vocals. Following the success of their previous English tracks like “Love talk”, “Miracle”, “Call me”, and “Filthy rich”, “Ice tea” is generating high expectations among global fans.
The album also features “WOAH (燃点)”, a hip-hop track with a nostalgic 90s vibe, reflecting the group’s fiery energy and passionate stage presence. Meanwhile, “Sad Eyes (泪眼)”, a mid-tempo pop song, delicately explores the pain of parting and longing for a loved one, with touching lyrics and emotional falsettos from the members.
On July 9, WAYV released new teaser images and a mood film on its official social media accounts. In the teaser, the members take on the roles of a special-powered crew, gathering in a grand and intense setting as their hidden identities are gradually revealed in a powerful, mysterious atmosphere.

The “BIG BANDS” mini-album will also be released physically on July 18, and pre-orders are currently available at various online and offline retailers.
