NCT DREAM
Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon has chosen NCT DREAM, who just made its comeback with its fifth full-length album “GO BACK TO THE FUTURE”, as the star of Melon Spotlight. The platform will feature exclusive content and fan events to celebrate the release.
The new album “GO BACK TO THE FUTURE” revolves around the theme of time travel, reflecting on the group’s journey over the past nine years and looking ahead to their future. It reaffirms their identity as “the brightest version of NCT DREAM.” The album contains nine tracks in total, including the double title songs “BTTF” and “Chiller.”
On the day of the album’s release, July 14 at 6:30 PM KST, NCT DREAM will host a live chat event via Melon Music Wave, where members will directly engage with fans to discuss the new project. Three lucky participants will be randomly selected to receive a group Polaroid as a gift.
A video call event is also being held for fans: 14 Melon users will get the opportunity to join a video call with NCT DREAM. Registration is open on the Spotlight page through August 4.
In conjunction with the release, Melon Magazine will launch a rich collection of content to celebrate the comeback, song breakdowns, exclusive video interviews, photos, handwritten autographs, and personal messages from the members, all in one place.
Notably, the exclusive Spotlight interview will feature moments selected by the members themselves as the most meaningful of their journey so far, along with their personal track recommendations, giving fans plenty of fun behind-the-scenes stories and insights.
Lastly, Melon Spotlight is a service that promotes artists’ new releases with exclusive Melon content and exposure on the large LED K-POP LIVE screen at Samsung Station. Beyond Spotlight, Melon also supports the growth of the Korean music industry through projects like TrackZero (promoting indie and legacy artists), Hi-RiSiNG (training rising talents), and curated content under EDITION m, among other initiatives.
