DKZ - JONGHYEON
JONGHYEONG, a member of the group DKZ, successfully concluded his participation in the 30th-anniversary commemorative performance of the musical “Love in the Rain (사랑은 비를 타고).”
On July 13, JONGHYEONG wrapped up approximately three months of performances with the final show of “Love in the Rain (사랑은 비를 타고)” held at Seoul’s Baekam Art Hall.
“Love in the Rain (사랑은 비를 타고)” is an iconic Korean original musical that lightheartedly and movingly explores the conflicts and reconciliation between two brothers who have lost their parents. In the production, JONGHYEONG played the role of Donghyeon, a character who left his family seven years earlier due to emotional wounds and returns to be with his older brother Dongwook.
JONGHYEONG was praised for bringing to life a character who is both rebellious and sensitive with delicate acting, reminding audiences of the true meaning of family. With his solid acting skills and vocal talents, he carried the 100-minute runtime with great success, once again proving himself as a “rising star of the Korean musical scene.”
In a closing statement, JONGHYEONG said:
“It was an honor to take part in Love in the Rain as Donghyeon for its 30th anniversary. It was a time of learning and growth alongside a talented director and senior cast members. I will continue to work hard to show you many different sides of myself. I hope everyone lives with love always in their hearts.”
