Cube Entertainment’s new boy group NOWZ has proven its rapid rise.

NOWZ’s (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) first mini-album “IGNITION” recorded 150,833 copies sold during its first week, according to Hanteo Chart data as of July 16. This is a remarkable achievement, with first-week sales doubling with each release since its debut with “NOWHERE”.
NOWZ debuted last April with the single NOWADAYS, which sold about 40,000 copies in its first week. Their second single, “NOWHERE”, released in August the same year, reached around 76,000 copies sold. With “IGNITION”, NOWZ broke the symbolic 100,000 album sales mark in the first week, reaching a new career high and raising expectations for what’s to come.
Their first mini-album, released one year after debut, “IGNITIiON” carries a message of youth and burning passion racing toward the top. Through solid musicianship and polished performances, the group showcases various aspects of youth expressed in NOWZ’s unique identity.
NOWZ particularly captivates with a diverse musical palette: the refreshing pre-release “Fly to the youth (자유롭게 날아)” featuring Yuqi (from I-DLE), the title track “Everglow” with an emotional rock style distinctive to the group, and “Problem Child (문제아)”, an intense and raw track performed at its fan showcase. Together, these songs capture the attention of fans both in Korea and internationally.
Meanwhile, NOWZ continues their promotional activities by participating in various music shows and online content with “Everglow” and “Problem child (문제아)”, keeping up their connection with fans.
