JAY of the group ENHYPEN teams up with American singer-songwriter MAX.

MAX’s new song “Love insane (feat. JAY of ENHYPEN)”, featuring JAY, was released today (July 18) at 1 p.m. KST on music platforms worldwide. The music video was also uploaded to MAX’s official YouTube channel.
“Love insane (feat. JAY of ENHYPEN)” is a track that rhythmically and playfully expresses the emotions of a man going madly in love. Its lively drum beats, powerful synths, and energetic brass sounds create an addictive vibe. The powerful vocals of JAY and MAX elevate the song’s overall energy.
JAY shared his thoughts through his agency, BELIFT LAB:
“MAX is an artist with a wide musical spectrum and a great source of inspiration for me. I’m happy to have taken on the challenge of trying something new musically with such a great song.”
He added:
“Until now, I’ve mostly shown a rock-influenced style, but this time I focused on delivering high notes with a soft and clear tone over a groovy melodic line. I hope people notice this new side of me.”
Through ENHYPEN’s songs, collaborations, and covers, JAY has demonstrated a wide vocal range, from gentle tones to soaring high notes, proving his solid vocal abilities. He also contributed to the production, lyrics, and guitar performance on Helium, a track from their sixth mini-album “DESIRE: UNLEASH”, released last month, further confirming his musical versatility.
Thanks to this passion, JAY also featured on and co-wrote the Japanese lyrics for whodunit, “GLAY × JAY (ENHYPEN) – / シェア”, a special single released in celebration of the legendary Japanese rock band GLAY’s 30th anniversary. The project received an enthusiastic response from fans. Additionally, his cover of “Always”, released last March, was praised by Jon Bon Jovi himself on the band’s official social media, calling it “a truly amazing cover.” The video has nearly reached 15 million views in just four months, reflecting its huge popularity.
MAX is an accomplished artist who has performed on major stages across the United States, Asia, and Europe, including world tours and major festivals like Lollapalooza. He also contributed to the composition of “Too close”, one of the tracks on ENHYPEN’s album “DESIRE: UNLEASH”.
