SWEETEEZ
The digital girl group SWEETEEZ, entirely created through artificial intelligence and breaking down the boundaries between reality and the virtual world, made a sensational debut with their first single “SUGAR RUSH,” delivering a refreshing shockwave to the K-pop scene.

Some are already drawing comparisons to the emergence of a new universe, similar to that of “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS.”
The music video for “Sugar rush,” released on July 17, features a dreamlike, candy-coated fantasy world, with choreography that moves seamlessly between reality and the virtual realm, all set to a hyperpop-based dance track. Its catchy hook and sophisticated sound design, now available on music streaming platforms, have been met with critical acclaim.
What’s particularly noteworthy is that SWEETEEZ is a fully virtual five-member girl group, with every aspect, from appearance, vocals, and choreography to personality and narrative universe, created entirely by AI. Despite having no human members, the group has managed to build a genuine fanbase, inspiring secondary content such as fanart, dance covers, and challenges. Some are calling it the true beginning of the “AI K-pop era.”
The group’s agency, Myblin9, stated:
“SWEETEEZ isn’t just a collection of characters, they’re a digital artist that brings together music, performance, and storytelling. We wanted to show that for Gen Z and Gen Alpha, AI artists are no longer something strange or unfamiliar.”
As “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” recently made waves with its narrative universe blending reality and the supernatural, SWEETEEZ also appears to be laying the foundation for a new fandom culture through its AI-driven fantasy concept and integrated storytelling.
Additionally, SWEETEEZ plans to expand its presence as an “AI innovation artist” through various activities, including social media fan challenges, interactive content, and real-time virtual fan meetings.
