The group WAYV is making its comeback with a new mini-album titled “BIG BANDS.”

On July 18 at 1 p.m. (KST), WAYV will release all tracks from their 7th mini-album “BIG BANDS” on various music platforms. The music video for the title track “BIG BANDS” will also premiere simultaneously on the SMTOWN YouTube channel.
The album includes a total of six tracks, featuring both Korean and Chinese versions of the title track “Big bands.” It also includes “Your Song (你的歌),” with lyrics co-written by member KUN, a warm, emotional track about becoming a light for each other in the darkness and running together toward a shared dream. Also featured are “Woah (燃点),” a hip-hop track with 90s vibes that reflects WAYV’s burning passion; “Sad Eyes (泪眼),” a mid-tempo pop song expressing the pain of parting and longing for someone; and “Ice tea,” a unique English-language track with a distinct vibe.
The title track “Big bands” is an upbeat dance song infused with jazz elements, featuring vibrant brass and a rhythmic groove reminiscent of a grand big band sound. It stands out with its powerful groove and catchy chant-style vocals. The lyrics deliver a bold message: “We’ll create a resonance as big as a big band that moves your soul,” showcasing WAYV’s confidence and overwhelming energy.

The music video portrays the members reshaping and transforming the world in their own image, each according to their unique style and character, using a variety of visual effects. It also highlights WAYV’s colorful and dynamic performances, which are expected to be well received by fans.
Additionally, WAYV will hold showcase events in China to celebrate the album’s release: in Beijing on July 18, Shanghai on the 20th, and Guangzhou on the 22nd. Global fans are already showing great interest.
