TWICE - JIHYO
Following the successful first concert of TWICE’s 6th world tour, “<THIS IS FOR> – Part.1“ in Incheon, TWICE’s JIHYO reveals a photo shoot and interview in collaboration with Singles magazine’s August issue.

In the shoot, JIHYO exudes captivating charm: alternately wearing pink mini-shorts paired with a seductive black top, or dressed head-to-toe in black, she showcases a limitless range of charisma.
In the accompanying interview, JIHYO reflects on her solo song “ATM,” released as part of the promotion for the album <THIS IS FOR>.
“It’s a ‘hip’ style track that I’ve wanted to try for a long time. When I added the melodic vocal lines, I felt it fit perfectly.”

Regarding the solo tracks by other TWICE members, she shares:
“I thought, ‘Ah, they all wanted to try that kind of style.’ It was new and fun to listen to.”
Known for her involvement in recording sessions, JIHYO reveals that she once again spent a lot of time in the studio for this album. She points to “MARS” as the song that required the most work:
“There were many high notes, and since I had caught a cold, it was especially difficult. Even after recording other songs, I kept saying, ‘I’m going to redo it,’ and I did it several times.”
As for the track she believes fans will like the most, she names “Right and girl”:
“It’s a song that really reveals its charm during concerts. The vibe is very different from the usual TWICE, so I think fans will really enjoy it.“
In conclusion to the interview, JIHYO reflects on her ten years of training before debut, and her ten years with TWICE, which she sums up in one word:

“Gratitude. I’m always proud and thankful to be part of TWICE. I want to keep performing on stage, both as part of the group and solo. If I can keep experiencing all this with our fans, that would be true happiness. It’s not something easy, but I’m ready to work even harder.”
Finally, JIHYO’s photo shoot and interview are available in Singles’ August issue and on their official website (https://singleskorea.com). The special digital cover featuring JIHYO will be revealed on July 30 on the magazine’s social media channels.
