The name “LAZURITE” refers to lazurite, a deep-blue gemstone often associated with starlit skies and the cosmos. The name reinforces ORβIT’s strong visual and conceptual identity, which revolves around themes of space, stars, and interdimensional connections.
The original version of the light stick was already beloved by fans, known as EαRTH, for its sleek and minimalist look. This second version appears to take the group’s cosmic and mysterious universe even further.
ORβIT is a Japanese-Korean boy group currently made up of five members: YOUNGHOON, YOONDONG, TOMO, SHUNYA, and YUGO. The group was formed from contestants of the survival show “Produce 101 Japan Season 1,” which featured both Japanese and Korean trainees competing in singing and dance.
ORβIT officially debuted on November 11, 2020, under the independent label Dream Passport Entertainment, with its first album, “00.”
Originally a seven-member group, HEECHO and JUNE departed on June 20, 2025, marking a new chapter in the group’s evolution.
This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for ORβIT, as the group enters a fresh phase with five members. The upcoming release of “LAZURITE Ver.02” stands as a symbolic milestone in this transition, and a meaningful collectible for fans who have supported them from the start.
Stay tuned for more details about the official release date, technical features, and pre-order information. The sky is not the limit for ORβIT, and neither is their light stick.
