All eyes are on FROM20 and HELLO GLOOM at the New Morning!
FROM20 and HELLO GLOOM, founders of the label WAY BETTER, made their return to Paris on July 26 as part of their second European tour, organized in partnership with ENVOL PRODUCTION. Titled “ALL EYES ON ME”, this year’s tour spans five countries: Poland, Germany, France, England, and, for the first time, Finland — replacing the Netherlands, which was included in the 2024 tour.
It was in the intimate venue of New Morning, the same place where their previous Paris concert took place, that the two artists reunited with their French audience. An eager and enthusiastic crowd was waiting, ready to vibrate to the rhythm of their music. The energy in the room ignited from the very first notes. FROM20 and HELLO GLOOM delivered solo performances while supporting each other on stage, also offering powerful duets driven by their natural chemistry.
There were many moments of interaction with the audience — always genuine and sometimes laced with humour. During “Demon”, FROM20 turned up the heat by asking a fan to hold the microphone while he sang. Just a few minutes later, during “Bad revenge”, he took off his tank top, appearing shirtless to the delighted screams of the crowd.
A little later, HELLO GLOOM took over with “Satellite”, before both artists addressed the crowd during their first talk moment. “We love you! We’re so happy to be back in Paris and to have fun with you tonight”, they said together. The atmosphere became even more relaxed when a fan handed them a pair of sunglasses that matched their outfits. FROM20 playfully tried them on, saying they looked good on him, while HELLO GLOOM laughed and joked that he looked too serious — like a teacher.
Then, FROM20 announced that the next song was dedicated to the fans: “Blue”, performed as a duet with HELLO GLOOM, was followed by “Your love”. During that track, HELLO GLOOM leaned toward the pit, allowing several fans to touch his face. On “Heaven on earth”, FROM20 grabbed fans’ phones to take selfies from the middle of the crowd, dancing all the while with overflowing energy.
Midway through the concert, the duo made a surprise announcement that sparked a wave of applause: “To thank you for your support, everyone who buys merch tonight will get a hug.” A simple but meaningful gesture that perfectly reflects the close and genuine bond the two artists have with their fans.
Later, during a more intimate moment of connection, HELLO GLOOM shared: “Thank you to the fans for supporting me. It’s thanks to you that I continue to make music and forget all my moments of doubt. Your love make love.” FROM20, in turn, thanked the crowd for inviting him back once again: “This second tour has brought me even more emotions. I hope to come back very soon. Use your voice until the very end — because we won’t have any left by the time this concert is over!”
The final songs followed one another without pause, building into an impressive crescendo. “Tv star” and “Beat it” were performed as a duo in a wild, high-energy atmosphere. Once again, FROM20 took off his jacket, drawing plenty of attention from the crowd. They continued with “Falling”, “Because it’ll be faster for you to Forget me than me loving you”, and “Mamacita” — tracks that showcased the full range of their musical style.
The two artists returned to the stage for the encore, this time wearing the official tour t-shirts. They wrapped up the evening on a high note with “Drama” and “Chemical”, two fan favourites sung in unison by a fully captivated audience.
Meanwhile, a photo contest launched at the beginning of the concert added a playful touch to the night: the fan who posted the best photo would win a small prize. In the end, two winners were selected and received a signed poster in person, along with a photo opportunity with both artists.
Some lucky fans were also treated to a more personal experience: hugs, high touches, duo or solo photo sessions with FROM20 and HELLO GLOOM — a deeply emotional finale for those who had the chance to take part.
To wrap up, it was a concert that was both intimate, energetic, and full of heart. The fans showed up in full force, and the artists were visibly happy to return to a stage that now feels like home. Having already performed at New Morning last year, FROM20 and HELLO GLOOM once again proved that in Paris, they truly belong.
The duo will continue its European tour at The Garage in London, UK, on July 28.
