The national group KOYOTE continues to prove its status as the original “kings of party vibes.”

On July 26, KOYOTE (Kim Jong Min, Shinji, and Bbaek Ga) appeared on MBC’s show “The Manager” and gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at their performance at a water park, energizing the audience with a medley of their biggest hits.
As soon as KOYOTE entered the water park, they were greeted with excited cheers, not just from the crowd but even from the staff. The bleachers were packed with fans eagerly awaiting their appearance. Upon seeing the footage, panelists on the show remarked, “There’s not a single song people don’t know,” and “Everyone can sing along,” confirming the group’s enduring popularity. KOYOTE delivered an unfiltered set of hits like “Broken heart,” “만남,” “Our Dream,” “비몽,” and “순정,” lighting up the stage. The audience passionately sang along and stood up to applaud with enthusiasm.
One especially memorable moment came when the backing track suddenly cut out mid-performance. Undeterred, KOYOTE seamlessly continued singing live. The crowd spontaneously joined in, keeping the energy alive. Jun Hyun Moo commented with admiration, “I was impressed by how calm they were.” Shinji added, “If none of the mics work, we just put them down and sing with our full voices, and the crowd joins in.” It was a powerful display of the group’s 27 years of experience and deep bond with their fans.
The energy on stage, where men, women, young, and old sang together, was so strong it carried into the studio. Watching the footage, BBAEK GA shared emotionally, “We never get to see ourselves during events, so watching this gave me chills.” Song Eun Yi added, “It’s rare to find artists everyone, regardless of age or gender, can sing along with.” Annie, from the group Allday Project, also expressed her admiration, saying, “My goal is to become an artist like our seniors, whose songs are known nationwide.”
By rekindling both nostalgia and excitement, KOYOTE once again confirmed its role as pioneers of mixed-gender dance groups through its appearance on “The Manager”. Their upcoming national tour, titled “2025 Koyote Festival: Fun,” is already generating high anticipation. The tour kicks off on September 7 in Daegu and will continue through Seoul, Ulsan, Busan, and Changwon, with more dates to be announced soon.
In addition, KOYOTE will release their new single “CALL ME” on August 6. They’ll continue their national tour as well as embark on an Australian tour, bringing them even closer to fans both in Korea and abroad. As true legends still going strong after 27 years, KOYOTE’s journey continues to captivate attention.
