The first case of this new segment begins in 1900, when a report is received indicating collapsed and bloody people. In a house, blood flows in torrents from the living room to the main bedroom, and a man is discovered bloody in the living room, while two women are in the main bedroom. The man collapsed in the living room was a son studying at university, and the two women in the main bedroom were the mother and a female co-worker of the mother. In particular, the mother died on the spot after being stabbed 14 times with a bladed weapon, while the co-worker and the son were transported to the hospital due to their injuries.
At that moment, a young man in his twenties who was renting a room in the house is inside when, hearing screams as well as the son shouting “Stop thief!”, he comes out. He then spots a man estimated to be in his thirties taking flight and pursues him, but the man brandishes a bladed weapon and threatens him, ultimately making him lose sight of him.
In the yard, a bladed weapon with a total length of 50 cm is discovered. However, gold rings, watches, and cash remain intact inside the house and no object has disappeared, making the situation difficult to consider as a burglary case.
Furthermore, the criminal left no notable clue at the scene, and the description remembered by the victims and the witness is also limited to a man of about 30 years old. The deceased mother was not a person likely to arouse resentment in daily life and had no specific particularity, making the identification of the criminal difficult.
It is then that the eldest daughter met at the funeral addresses an unexpected story. This case could be linked to the youngest sister. A few years ago, the youngest sister, then a high school student, was victim of a sexual crime, and the perpetrator at the time was incarcerated in prison.
Detectives traced the movements of the perpetrator, who was Mr. Park (assumed name), aged 31.
