For the first time since its debut, DAY6 is highlighting two title tracks on its new album.
On August 18, JYP Entertainment revealed the tracklist for DAY6’s 4th studio album, “The DECADE”, on the group’s official social media channels.
Previously following a single-title strategy, DAY6 this time selected “꿈의 버스” and “Inside out” as double title tracks, expanding the musical and narrative scope of the album.
The album includes a total of 10 songs: the two title tracks, along with “해야 뜨지 말아 줘”, “Disco Day (디스코 데이)”, “My way (마이 웨이)”, “별들 앞에서”, “Take all my heart (테이크 올 마이 하트)”, “날아라! 드림라이더”, “드디어 끝나갑니다”, and “우리의 계절”.
All tracks feature direct participation from the members, solidifying their identity as a rock band, and long-time collaborator composer Hong Jisang, who contributed to many of the group’s hits, is also credited.
“The DECADE” is DAY6’s first full-length studio album since “THE BOOK OF US: Entropy”, released in October 2019, six years ago. The album’s title references the decade. DAY6 has explored various aspects of life and love through their music, building their own discography, and this new album condenses their sincerity and experiences, promising an even stronger musical narrative.
The album will be released on September 5 at 6 p.m. KST.
