DKB - HARRY JUNE
Thanks to the show “BOYS II PLANET”, HARRY-JUNE has established himself as a well-rounded artist, combining personality and talent. His journey also brought renewed attention to DKB’s growth story and raised expectations for its future activities.

The participation of HARRY-JUNE in “BOYS II PLANET” showcased just how versatile and talented DKB is as a group. Already recognized as an “all-rounder group,” capable of songwriting, composing, and choreography, their image was further solidified. On “BOYS II PLANET”, HARRY-JUNE, though the youngest in his group, stood out as an “experienced leader,” leaving a strong impression.
When asked about the reaction of DKB members to his performances, he shared with a smile:
“The hyungs told me they didn’t expect me to do that well. For them, I’m still the maknae, but since we’ve been together since I was 16, the fact that I took on the leader role twice made them proud.”
Member HEECHAN had also taken on the “BOYS II PLANET” challenge, but after being eliminated earlier, HARRY-JUNE found himself alone on stage. Tearfully, he recalled:
“It was really reassuring to have my hyung with me, so when he left first, it was frustrating and a little bitter. I thought: ‘Why is he leaving before his dongsaeng?’”

He continued:
“After HEECHAN-hyung’s elimination, I pulled myself together. I heard he told the other contestants: ‘Take care of HARRY.’ That phrase really supported me.”
From then on, he began asserting his presence more strongly. Even though he is the youngest in DKB, HARRY-JUNE had already experienced leadership roles as a class vice-president and president back in elementary school.
Regarding his role in “BOYS II PLANET”, he explained:
“It was hard to go from maknae to leader and guide a team. We didn’t know each other for long, everyone had strong personalities, and it wasn’t easy to bring us together.”
This experience gave him deeper insight into his own group’s leadership:
“By being a leader, I understood the mindset my hyungs had when guiding the team. I felt their struggles.”

With humor, he added:
“D1-hyung told me: ‘You’re doing well, but you’re not better than me yet!’, smiling proudly.”
These anecdotes highlight strengthened teamwork and unity within DKB.
Beyond leadership, HARRY-JUNE also discovered his passion and talent for dance, especially through teaching:
“Even friends who didn’t usually listen to instructions respected what I said. Even if they struggled with the moves, they made incredible efforts.”
He recalled MASATO in particular:
“During ‘Rising sun’, he had little training and dance experience, so it was really hard for him. But I saw his constant effort, and it encouraged me. Watching him gradually succeed at moves he couldn’t do at first gave me real satisfaction. I love creating, teaching, and passing on dance.”
HARRY-JUNE’s growth naturally raises anticipation for DKB as a whole. Encouraged by his journey, the members declared their determination to grow even more.

He concluded:
“I think the hyungs are more motivated. Right now, everyone is working on personal skills while preparing for upcoming activities. They say: ‘Thanks to HARRY, things went well, so let’s do even better this time!’ I want to show how we’ll grow together as DKB.”
