B1A4 member SANDEUL has completed his first performance in the musical “Death Note”.

The musical “Death Note” (producer Shin Chun-su, production Ode Company) opened its preview on October 14th, and SANDEUL, playing the role of “L”, shared his impressions after his first performance on October 15th via his agency WM Entertainment.
SANDEUL stated:
“I had a lot of worries and thoughts, but thanks to the support of many people, I was able to focus fully. I hope many come to see us and continue to follow all the actors on stage with love.”
Adapted from the famous Japanese manga of the same name, the musical “Death Note” depicts the intense intellectual battle between the genius high school student “Light”, who seeks to punish evil using the Death Note, and the exceptional detective “L”, who hunts him. The production is particularly appreciated by musical fans for its unique characters and high narrative quality.
With the arrival of a new cast, the musical had already generated high expectations. SANDEUL, as the new “L”, impressed audiences with his meticulous portrayal, expressing each line, expression, and gesture precisely. His iconic musical number as “L” captivated viewers with his vocal power and singing ability, leaving a strong impression.
Since his musical debut in 2012 with “형제는 용감했다”, SANDEUL has built a wide range of experience through productions such as “올슉업”, “삼총사”, “셜록홈즈: 사라진 아이들”, “1976 할란카운티”, “넥스트 투 노멀”, and “쿠로이 저택엔 누가 살고 있을까”, solidifying his position as a musical actor. With “Death Note”, he begins a new chapter with a reimagined “L”, leaving audiences excited for upcoming performances.
The musical “Death Note” with SANDEUL will be performed at D-Cube Link Art Center until May 10th, 2026.
