Singer and actor CHA EUNWOO is making waves worldwide with his second mini-album. CHA EUNWOO reached number one in 11 countries and regions on the iTunes top albums chart with his second solo mini-album “ELSE”, released on November 21.
Additionally, on Apple Music, he ranked in the charts of six regions, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Colombia, and Madagascar, demonstrating the strong reaction of the public to CHA EUNWOO.
“ELSE” also reached number one on the iTunes Top Albums chart in 11 regions, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Nicaragua, Peru, Qatar, and Taiwan, confirming once again CHA EUNWOO’s global influence. The title track “Saturday peacher” ranked number one in several regions, including Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, and Singapore, and entered the TOP5 of the global iTunes chart in 12 regions, demonstrating its impact. The other tracks, “Sweet papaya” and “Selfish”, also performed well on the global iTunes charts.
After a high-quality album released after one year and nine months, CHA EUNWOO confirmed his identity as a solo artist. On November 22, he posted on his official social media a video of the dance challenge for “Saturday peacher”, attracting even more attention.
“ELSE” consists of four songs in which CHA EUNWOO explores various genres and styles outside usual boundaries. The title track “Saturday peacher” incorporates seductive disco elements, presented with a refined performance and a high, attractive vocal. In the music video, he shows a bold transformation into a double character with a fresh vibe, offering an intense immersion for viewers.
On November 24 at 3:30 PM KST, CHA EUNWOO will release the performance video of the track on the official FANTAGIO YouTube channel, and on the 28th at the same time, the video for “Sweet papaya” will also be released.
