THE BOYZ
Serious operational issues at OneHundred, led by Cha Gawon, have resulted in major payment delays for its artists, including BAEKHYUN, TAEMIN, and THE BOYZ, with unpaid amounts reaching tens of billions of won (equivalent to tens of millions of euros).

According to investigations by The Fact, THE BOYZ, under OneHundred, are currently owed approximately 1 billion won (about 590,000 euros). Artists under the label INB100, including BAEKHYUN, are also reportedly awaiting around 1 billion won, while CHEN and XIUMIN are said to have unpaid amounts as well. For TAEMIN (BigPlanetMade), delayed payments reportedly exceed 1 billion won. In total, outstanding payments for all affiliated artists are estimated at around 5 billion won (approximately 2.9 million euros).
These financial issues come as little surprise. The 2024 audit report of BigPlanetMade shows liabilities (around 53.2 billion won) exceeding assets (around 34.2 billion won), meaning the company’s capital has been fully eroded. INB100 is in a slightly less critical situation but is still nearly depleted. These conditions have not significantly improved in 2025 and may even worsen.
OneHundred and its affiliated labels (INB100 and BigPlanetMade) are all essentially owned and controlled by Cha Gawon. These companies have survived on advances from concerts, albums, and appearances, but since the second half of 2025, this cash flow has become insufficient.
Despite extensive world tours and intense activities in 2024 and 2025, the artists have not been properly compensated. For example:
- TAEMIN joined BigPlanetMade in April 2024, completed a world tour through April 2025 (29 cities), and then continued with a tour in Japan.
- BAEKHYUN, CHEN, and XIUMIN, after INB100 was absorbed by OneHundred, carried out a world tour (28 cities) but reportedly did not receive their due payments.
Extravagant spending, such as 10.8 billion won spent on costumes in 2024 (which the agency attempted to justify as misrecorded production expenses, drained available funds. In addition, CHEN, BAEKHYUN, and XIUMIN are required to remit 10% of their personal earnings to SM Entertainment, which has reportedly not been paid due to INB100’s lack of funds. This contributed to their absence from EXO’s full-group comeback, disappointing fans.
With over 100 employees, an estimated monthly payroll of 400 million won, and liabilities exceeding assets, Cha Gawon’s labels appear unable to stabilize their financial situation. Even revenue from appearances and events is insufficient to cover the deficit.
Whether the artists will be able to continue their activities and album releases in a stable manner remains uncertain. A thorough investigation into the financial management of OneHundred and its affiliated labels appears necessary. As of now, the company has not responded to requests for clarification regarding these delayed payments.
