The BTS tour, anticipated by music fans around the world, will begin in April.

BTS announced the organization of a new world tour by unveiling, on January 14 at midnight, a poster for “BTS WORLD TOUR” on the global super-fan platform Weverse. This tour will start in Goyang, Korea, and extend to North America, Europe, South America, and Asia. As of now, a total of 79 concerts in 34 cities have been announced. This marks the largest number of performances for a single tour by a K-pop artist. Additional dates in Japan and the Middle East will be added later, which is expected to further expand the scale of the tour.
The concerts will kick off in grand fashion on April 9, 11, and 12 at the main stadium in Goyang. On June 12 and 13, BTS will meet audiences in Busan. June 13, in particular, corresponds to the group’s debut date and is expected to be a special moment to share this significance with fans.
The North American leg of the tour will begin on April 25 and 26 in Tampa and will take place across 12 cities for a total of 28 concerts. BTS will notably perform at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso and the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, marking in both cities the very first and largest K-pop concerts ever held. The group will also take the stage at Stanford Stadium, becoming the second artist to perform there after the world-renowned group Coldplay. They will also hold concerts, for the first time for a Korean artist, at major venues such as AT&T Stadium in Arlington, the world’s largest covered stadium by capacity, as well as M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. In June and July, the tour will move to Europe with 10 concerts in five cities, including London and Paris. Solo concerts will take place for the first time in Madrid and Brussels. In France, the concerts will be held at the Stade de France.

BTS will also visit five cities in South America, including São Paulo and Buenos Aires, and plans to later extend the tour to the Middle East. This illustrates that BTS’s popularity is not limited to a specific region but extends on a global scale. A stage production befitting the magnitude of this tour is also expected, with the installation of a 360-degree stage to provide total immersion for the audience.
Meanwhile, prior to the start of the world tour, BTS will release its fifth studio album containing 14 tracks on March 20. This marks the group’s full-group comeback after approximately three years and nine months of absence.
