The sibling duo AKMU (LEE CHAN HYUK, LEE SU HYUN), who left YG ENTERTAINMENT, has chosen the new company name “영감의 샘터 Cemter of Inspiration”.
AKMU recently announced its new label on the fan platform Weverse through a message titled “Announcement regarding the transfer of the AKMU community contract”.
They specified: “Following the expiration of the exclusive contract between AKMU and YG ENTERTAINMENT, our company will move to ‘영감의 샘터 Cemter of Inspiration’”, adding that the effective date of the contract transfer will be the 27th.
“영감의 샘터 Cemter of Inspiration” takes its name from exhibitions organized by LEE CHAN HYUK in 2023 and 2025, and was conceived from the question “Where does inspiration come from?”.
On the 1st of last month, the official account of “영감의 샘터 Cemter of Inspiration” drew attention by posting an image showing what appears to be the company logo.
In addition, AKMU had officially announced in November the end of its exclusive contract with YG ENTERTAINMENT, thus marking its independence.
