KARD’s “Color Joker,” JEON JIWOO, breaks free from conventions and is set to make history with her first solo steps.

On February 5 at midnight KST, excitement surged on KARD’s official social media. Fans were finally able to discover the second series of concept photos for “(EX)IST”, JEON JIWOO’s very first solo EP album. Far from the usual group energy, the artist reveals here an experimental and visceral side, confirming that this personal project will be an unfiltered exploration of her own identity.
The visual is a true aesthetic shock. Sporting a steel-blue bob with silver reflections, JEON JIWOO plays with concealment. Her hand, adorned with a complex palm jewel and sharp crystal claws, partially hides her gaze, as if to signify that her art is not for everyone. The contrast between the softness of her makeup and the sharpness of her accessories creates a fascinating tension, characteristic of this album’s universe.

In a wider staging, she is seen as a celestial entity moving through a pristine void. Wrapped in pearl-like floral structures that seem to float around her, JEON JIWOO commands a magnetic presence. This artistic choice for “(EX)IST” seems to suggest a metamorphosis: that of an idol freeing herself from her chains to exist on her own, through raw elegance and an absolutely modern artistic direction.
The message is clear: with this EP, JEON JIWOO does not merely sing, she asserts her artistic existence in a new and radical light. Mark February 11 to discover JEON JIWOO’s solo musical identity.
