Between traditional costumes and royal ambition, the members of THE WIND launch their quest for social ascent to start 2026 right!
To celebrate the dawn of the Year of the Fire Horse, THE WIND prepared a new and playful piece of content for their fans, the WHIZ. Wearing “commoner” outfits, the members began a historical role-playing game where each performance could allow them to climb the ranks of old Korean society. The objective is clear:
“If I succeed, I could become a noble… and it’s even possible to rise to the status of king!”
The stakes are high, as failure means stagnation or even decline. For their first mission, the boys decided to rely on “beginner’s luck” by letting THANATORN choose a card among the six offered. Despite some apprehension about his current outfit, which he humorously described as a “rag” compared to the silk he hopes to wear, the group moved forward with determination.
Fate designated the track “빛을 담아 줄게”. A symbolic choice since, as the members pointed out, it is a song that marks the group’s beginnings. “It’s the beginning of THE WIND!” they exclaimed. Despite their simple clothes, they saw this performance as an opportunity for growth, stating that “the light and airy outfits might actually suit the song well.”
After an energetic performance, the suspense remains over their social promotion. The members concluded this first stage by addressing their community:
“Do you think THE WIND can achieve a rise in status?”
One thing is certain: their enthusiasm and chemistry have already won over fans’ hearts for the new year.
