JUNGKOOK
JUNGKOOK of BTS has once again broken global records.

According to the “Global 200” chart dated February 28 published by the American music media Billboard, JUNGKOOK’s first solo song, “Seven”, ranked 192nd, successfully re-entering the chart. With this, “Seven” set a new record as the first song by an Asian group or solo artist to remain on the chart the longest, totaling 133 weeks on the “Global 200”.
On the “Global (Excl. U.S.)” chart, its presence also continued. On the same date, the song reached 103rd place, marking 136 weeks on the chart. This is also the first and longest record for an Asian solo artist, proving once again its power to maintain a high position over a long period.
In national charts, the performances continued. On Billboard Korea’s “Hot 100” dated February 28, the song ranked 70th, while on “Global K-Songs,” “Seven” reached 8th place, “Standing next to you” 43rd place, and “3D” 62nd place, with three JUNGKOOK songs charting simultaneously.

JUNGKOOK had already reached the top positions on the “Global 200” and “Global (Excl. U.S.)” charts with “Seven”, “Standing next to you”, and “3D”. He notably set a milestone by becoming the first solo artist in the world to simultaneously reach the top of these two charts with more than three songs in a single year.
“Seven” debuted at the top of Billboard’s main “Hot 100” chart and remained there for 15 weeks. On the global streaming platform Spotify, the records continue as well. The song has appeared for 136 weeks on the “Weekly Top Song Global” chart, setting the longest-running record for a song by an Asian solo artist.
Its cumulative achievements are also overwhelming. “Seven” surpassed 2.8 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first song by an Asian artist as well as the first release of 2023 to reach this milestone. As these figures become history, the name of JUNGKOOK of BTS rises once again to the top of the charts.
