The virtual idol group “B:DAWN” has finally been unveiled.

On March 20 at midnight, agency Duri Entertainment released B:DAWN’s first visual teaser on social media, including YouTube. B:DAWN is a five-member group consisting of Seo Dojin, Song Woorim, Kang Ho, Lim Yion, and Lee Hansol. Built as 3D characters using a combination of motion capture and animation, they have already grabbed attention with an aesthetic that looks like it stepped straight out of a manga.
The members appeared one after another to a powerful beat. Their faces were shown in silhouette, casting intense gazes under dim lighting. By the end of the video, the B:DAWN logo dominated the screen, fueling anticipation for their future musical capabilities.
B:DAWN is built upon a unique universe. Bathed in light, they travel to a new world where they experience visions of singing and dancing before tens of thousands of spectators. Upon waking, they work tirelessly in “World B” to turn those blurry visions into reality.
B:DAWN seems poised to push the boundaries of virtual idols by focusing not just on their visuals, but also on their vocal and stage performances. They plan to grow by incorporating human-driven narratives and engaging directly with their fans.
Duri Entertainment stated: “B:DAWN is set to debut in the first half of the year and aims to follow the success of the virtual idol phenomenon ‘PLAVE’ and the Netflix animated film ‘K-Pop: Demon Hunters.’ They will break the barriers between virtual space and reality to lead the Virtual Idol 2.0 era.“
