The group SEE YA (Nam Gyuri, Kim Yeonji, Lee Boram), who set the music world on fire by announcing a full reunion for their 20th anniversary, has proven that their presence is as strong as ever.
The first fan meeting organized by the three members following their reunion sold out the moment tickets went on sale, demonstrating their undiminished power.
SEE YA’s first fan meeting, titled “RE:BLOOM,” which will be held on March 30 at the EDLS in the Jongno District of Seoul, recorded a total sell-out for all seats immediately after reservations opened.
Notably, the booking window closed as soon as members KIM YEONJI and LEE BORAM shared the news of the fan meeting via social media; tickets vanished in seconds, even while NAM GYURI was still in the middle of posting her own announcement. This proves the burning desire of fans who have been eagerly waiting to see all three members together again.
Upon hearing the news of this surprise success, the members, touched by the fans’ support, expressed their gratitude through their respective Instagram accounts.
NAM GYURI first shared her feelings: “Already sold out, it’s so moving. Since it’s our first fan meeting, I was nervous and wondering what the reaction would be. Thank you so much for so much love and interest.” KIM YEONJI posted: “Thank you truly so much for waiting for us like this and for giving us such great love.“
LEE BORAM also expressed her emotion: “Since it’s a weekday evening, I was worried about whether many people could come. I am really grateful that it sold out so quickly.“
Following the sell-out announcement, fans shared both their joy and regret: “15 years of waiting is finally coming to an end,” “Are there no extra seats?” while fervently requesting a nationwide tour. Currently, the social media accounts of the organizers and the members are flooded with inquiries regarding canceled tickets or additional seating.
The title of this fan meeting, “RE:BLOOM,” carries the meaning of “blooming again.” Based on the special intention of seeing SEE YA and their fans reunite after a long wait to welcome a new season together, the members directly participated in all aspects of the planning, with an emphasis on close communication with fans.
On the day of the fan meeting, March 30 at 6 PM, the members of SEE YA will officially release “그럼에도 우린“, their first pre-release song in 15 years, on all major music platforms.
This song, composed by producer Park Geun Tae with lyrics co-written by the members, contains the nostalgia they haven’t been able to convey to fans and is receiving full attention from a public that has long awaited SEE YA‘s return.
SEE YA will officially begin their activities with the release of “그럼에도 우린” and the fan meeting on March 30. Then, in May, the group will finalize their grand comeback as an unrivaled vocal group with the release of a full-length album featuring producers Park Geun Tae and Kim Dohoon.
