The phenomenon group from JYP Entertainment is preparing to shake up the codes with a darker and more impactful aesthetic.
NIZIU has just unveiled the second video teaser for its next title track titled “Too bad“, scheduled for official release on April 1, 2026. After having conquered Japan and Korea with fresh and colorful concepts, the nine members (Mako, Rio, Maya, Riku, Ayaka, Mayuka, Rima, Miihi, and Nina) seem to be starting a major artistic transformation under the aegis of JYP ENTERTAINMENT. This short 15-second extract plunges fans into an unprecedented nocturnal atmosphere, where mystery and elegance meet.
The teaser opens on the members lying on the ground in total darkness, before showing them walking with a determined step towards the camera. A central setting particularly attracts attention: a luminous glass structure marked with the word “Detox”, suggesting a theme of liberation or renewal. The shots follow one another with nervous speed, showing stylized silhouettes and intense gazes, all carried by a powerful and repetitive electronic bass line that chants the words “Too bad“.
This new era accompanies the release of their 2nd EP album titled “GOOD GIRL BUT NOT FOR YOU“, an evocative title that confirms a desire to move away from the image of “model little girls” to explore a more mature and assertive identity. Everyone agrees that this comeback is one of the most anticipated of the season, highlighting the choreographic evolution of the group which seems here more synchronized and sharp than ever.
With this teaser, NIZIU proves that it is not afraid to reinvent itself and surprise its admirers, the WithU, by proposing a visual universe worthy of an urban science-fiction film.
