Today, March 31 2026, JEON SOMIN released the highlight medley for her first EP « UNVEIL » via KARD’s official YouTube channel.
The video begins with the opening of a folder titled « SOMIN » on an analog monitor. Set against a vintage texture, unreleased images showcase JEON SOMIN’s diverse charms, enhancing the overall immersion.
According to the preview, « UNVEIL » includes several tracks :
- « Love me like a fan », a dance-pop track blending a simple synth pluck melody with a trap rhythm,
- « Keep it cute », highlighted by a catchy xylophone sound combined with powerful trap drums,
- « Got it like that »,an up-tempo track driven by a lively beat and refreshing melody,
- « Como yo a ti », which combines a dembow rhythm with reggaeton sounds and Spanish lyrics,
- and « Closure » a heartfelt song dedicated to fans, showcasing JEON SOMIN’s vocal strengths.
The title track « Backseat» is a pop song built on a minimal yet impactful beat, deep bass, and addictive synth sounds. JEON SOMIN participated in writing the lyrics, demonstrating her artistic capabilities. Through her bold vocal delivery, she confidently expresses a determined attitude, moving forward without being shaken by rumors or criticism.
