The group EXO, even after 14 years since its debut, still finds its decade-long legacy “incredible”, according to its agency SM ENTERTAINMENT this Wednesday.

This day marks exactly 14 years since the group’s debut on April 8, 2012. EXO is best known for its hits “Growl” (2013), “Overdose” (2014) and “Love me right” (2015), and has exceeded one million copies sold with eight of its albums.
When the members were asked what the most memorable moment of their journey was, CHANYEOL remembered the moment when the members performed “History” (2012) during the group’s debut showcase.
“I cannot believe that 14 years have passed since then”, stated CHANYEOL, according to a press release from the agency.
“Yet, the most unforgettable day was the one when we filmed the music video for “History”. That is when I realized that I was finally recording the music video in a set that I had always watched on television.”, stated SUHO.
In January of this year, EXO released its eighth full-length album “REVERXE”.
KAI found the “number 14”, referring to the years spent within the group, “incredible”, noting that his time with the group’s fandom, EXO-L, made his memories more meaningful.
“Rather than a specific moment, I always remember the air and the way the fans look at us when we are on stage. These moments made me who I am today.“ stated KAI.
EXO is preparing to organize a three-day concert starting Friday in Seoul, titled “EXO PLANET #6 – EXHORIZON”, the first of its kind in six years and four months. The event will be the perfect mix of new music and memories, according to the members.

“Although there will be new songs and performances, the word ‘nostalgia’ would be the most appropriate to describe the concert. The songs that have been played over the last 14 years are reinterpreted in today’s style.” stated SUHO.
While D.O. stated that it would be a performance full of “memories”, KAI stated that it would be a moment of “reunion” where 14 years of moments would reconnect.
The members did not forget to express their gratitude toward their fans and to make affectionate promises in return.
“Thank you for loving EXO for a long time, and I will not get used to it. I will return with even greater love.”, stated SUHO.
“Let’s do we are one”, stated SEHUN, making a nod to the group’s iconic chant.
