The member of the group VICTON, KANG SEUNG SIK, is back with a new song.
KANG SEUNG SIK will release his second digital single “SUR(FP)HASE” on April 8 at 6 p.m. KST.
“SUR(FP)HASE” is a work that expresses the flow of emotions that surge, break, and reconnect endlessly through the image of waves. It captures the moments of a youth that changes without stopping and delicately contains the texture of emotions.
This single represents the imperfection and instability encountered in the process of walking toward a dream, as well as the will to move forward again. Through the flow of emotions that sometimes clash brutally or sometimes soak in silently, it portrays in a multidimensional way the image of youth living in the present.
The title song “기억의 잔상” is a track that follows the traces of emotions left on the time spent chasing a dream. It captures the process by which memories and emotions that cannot be clearly grasped overlap and spread to create another present. It leaves a lasting impression by conveying the message that the many moments formed over time join into a single trajectory and will eventually reach somewhere.
The secondary song “Dear. tomorrow” contains a message toward a tomorrow that has not yet come, conveying a calm but sincere comfort.
KANG SEUNG SIK, who made his solo debut last October, stated:
“Our waves will eventually reach the clouds in their own way. I will present a more mature musical spectrum by expressing more intensely the emotional fluctuations and the flow of youth”.
