VO1D
The new rock group VO1D is officially joining the virtual universe “Royal Universe,” thereby extending its field of action into the metaverse.

The five-member group from the agency IX Entertainment first unveiled its virtual avatars in the form of SD characters during the “World IT Show 2026” last April, announcing its debut as a “Twin Artist” linking the real and the virtual.
This project adopts a structure where the real artist and their virtual character are linked by the same intellectual property (IP), while possessing independent narratives. While they pursue their musical activities as a group in the real world, their SD characters receive roles and stories specific to the Royal Universe, thus enriching the artist’s overall universe.
VO1D, which debuted last March with its first mini-album “[01]“, has always aimed for a narration where music, visuals, and performance are interconnected. The integration of this virtual universe is part of the group’s strategy to offer a coherent narrative experience on both fronts. During the exhibition, immersive interactive content allowed the members and their avatars to meet in the same space, sparking interest in their future activities.

IX Entertainment and Royal Streamer stated: “VO1D’s joining of this universe is an attempt not to limit the artist’s IP to simple musical activities, but to connect it to the virtual domain endowed with infinite extensibility,” adding that they plan to “develop global activities from various angles, such as XR (extended reality) concerts based on the Royal Universe.”
Having officially declared the expansion of its universe, VO1D plans to continue communicating with its fans by sequentially presenting differentiated content navigating between reality and virtuality via platforms such as TikTok and YouTube.
