The new song from the group NOWZ, “우리의 시작”, will be released this May 13.
The agency CUBE ENTERTAINMENT published on May 12 on the official social media of NOWZ (Hyeonbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, Siyun) the video teaser for the music video of its new digital single “우리의 시작”.
The video transmitted a deep emotion by capturing, like a movie scene, the warm looks and exalted appearance of NOWZ observing the DAY& (fandom name) during their first fan-concert. Furthermore, a part of the lyrics “Here is our beginning” was heard over a refreshing band sound, thus increasing expectations.
“우리의 시작” is a song that expresses, with the delicate sensibility unique to the members, the memories accumulated between NOWZ and their fans, as well as the desire to cherish them for a long time.
Particularly, this new song is a track self-composed by the leader HYEONBIN, revealed for the first time in March during NOWZ‘s first fan-concert “RUN WITH ME, NOW”. JINHYUK and SIYUN added meaning by participating in writing the lyrics, and the sincere words of the members toward the fans are considered the main point of appreciation.
NOWZ, who celebrated their second debut anniversary on the 2nd of last month, is standing out this year in Korea as well as abroad, notably in Japan. Through the title track “Ammo (feat. yrd leo)” from their first Japanese EP album “NOWZ” released in March, they presented a new musical universe with dynamic music and performance. Subsequently, they took on the challenge of their first Japanese entertainment show on Japan’s representative OTT platform, ABEMA, and began local activities by appearing on the Japanese terrestrial channel TV TOKYO’s show “초초음파”.
“우리의 시작” will be published today at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites, and NOWZ will present a special stage of “우리의 시작” on the show “SHOW! CHAMPION” broadcast today on MBC M and MBC EVERY1.
