POW - YORCH
The agency GRID Entertainment unveiled an exclusive behind-the-scenes video documenting the intensive backstage of YORCH‘s music video shoot for his first solo single.
On May 19, 2026, the official channel of POW published a special episode of “POW NOW” immortalizing the behind-the-scenes of the first solo project of YORCH, titled “Blow your mind”. The artist opened his heart about the deep meaning of his music video’s concept. He embodies a courageous character facing the dilemma of leaving a secure but deeply boring indoor space to venture toward an outside world full of love, dreams, and dangers.
The vlog reveals that “Blow your mind” is the fruit of nearly 3 years of relentless work. It was during the promotions of the track “Favorite” that YORCH heard the unassigned original demo and begged his producer to give him a chance. After countless unsatisfactory recording sessions where he tried to copy the original style, he persevered, modified the chorus to his liking with the help of KING HENRY and SASHA SLOAN, to finally obtain the validation of his agency. The song was sent to the rappers SIK-K and BRYAN CHASE who immediately agreed to lay down their voices, sublimating a track that YORCH initially found a bit linear alone.
The video highlights the great physical and mental investment of YORCH, who followed a strict training and diet to perfect his appearance on screen, while chaining hours of walking and choreography in front of a camera pivoting 360 degrees. Shot at a frantic pace until past one in the morning in a dark and intimidating industrial setting, the young artist confessed to having felt a deep solitude at the thought of occupying the space alone, he who is used to the dynamic presence of the other members of his group.
This solitude was fortunately broken in the middle of the night by the surprise arrival of the four other members of POW. Their arms loaded with snacks to reboost their leader at the moment when his fatigue was at its peak, the “children” of the group, as he affectionately calls them, came to watch his takes and bring him an immense wave of energy for the end of the shoot.
At the conclusion of this visual marathon, YORCH wanted to warmly thank the technical teams as well as SIK-K and BRYAN CHASE for this collaboration that he describes as a “dream awake”, before making an appointment with his fans for the official release of the single on May 22, 2026, at 6 p.m. KST.
