The group EPEX unveiled a video that suggests the narrative of its new album.

EPEX (Wish, Mu, A-Min, Baekseung, Ayden, Yewang, Jeff) presented the introduction film of its seventh mini-album “소화(韶華) : EPILOGUE” in the afternoon of last May 19 via their official social media.
The unveiled video contains the image of a boy materialized in 3D animation. While music full of tension resonates with thunder, lightning, and a torrential rain as a backdrop, the moment the boy adjusts a white Pinocchio-shaped mask on his face, the mask shatters and transforms into the logo of EPEX.
This “소화(韶華) : EPILOGUE” is a new work published about 11 months after the 3rd studio album “소화 3장 : 낭만 청춘” released in July of last year. It is the last album of the “소화 (Youth)” series which had started in 2024 with “소화 1장 : 청춘 시절”, and it is expected that it will complete the entirety of the narrative of youth.
By concluding this “소화” series, EPEX plans to present an even more deepened fictional universe by concentrating the musical narrative and messages accumulated until now in it. This album, which simultaneously integrates the light and shadow of youth, is expected to transmit an intense resonance to fans by depicting a multi-layered line of emotions that encompasses growth, concerns, and hope.
The seventh mini-album “소화(韶華) : EPILOGUE” by EPEX will be released on next June 9 at 6 p.m. KST on various online music sites.
