HYUN SUK
The actor HYUN SUK, originally from the group CIX, joins season 2 of the TVING original series “STUDY GROUP”.
On July 13, HYUN SUK confirmed his participation in the role of Ji Young Hyun for season 2 of “STUDY GROUP” and is in the middle of filming. Ji Young Hyun, who also appears in the original webtoon, is a key character who drives the tension of the plot with intense charisma.
“STUDY GROUP” is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, and tells the story of an entrance exam that takes place when Yoon Gamin (Hwang Min Hyun), a boy who wants to study well but whose talent is concentrated solely on his fighting abilities, forms a study group in the worst school on earth, Yuseong Technical High School.
In season 2, the growth crises of the members, their past stories, and the secrets of an immense evil will unfold seriously. While HWANG MIN HYUN, who was performing his alternative service during the release of season 1, chose season 2 as his comeback work after his discharge, HYUN SUK plans to show a new face through the role of Ji Young Hyun and work together with him.
HYUN SUK has accumulated acting experience by appearing so far in the web drama “일진에게 반했을 때”, followed by EBS’s “Fall for you”, Wavve’s “The chairman is level 9”, the web drama “The chance of romance on the road season 3.5” and the TVING original short film “Me, myself and I”.
Having recently signed an exclusive contract with MANAGEMENT RUN and accelerating his acting activities, he will also appear in the new tvN drama “My bias, my boss”, which will be broadcast for the first time this coming August 3.
