Singer and actor JIN YOUNG, B1A4’s former member, will enlist in the army.
“JIN YOUNG received a notice of enlistment from the military administration on the afternoon of June 5th,” said his agency LINK8 Entertainment. “He will be admitted to an army training camp on June 20th“.
JIN YOUNG will serve as a social worker after completing basic military training at training camp. JIN YOUNG was found unfit for normal service after a fourth-degree physical examination following fractures to his right shoulder due to injuries sustained during filming and performances in films and dramas in the past.
According to the agency, JIN YOUNG has long been treated with non-surgical treatments such as physical rehabilitation and injections instead of surgery, but his condition has not improved. In response, he underwent surgery based on the judgment of the medical team, saying the operation was inevitable and undergoing rehabilitation, according to the agency.
