On this June 7th, band FTISLAND celebrates its 13 years of career.
One of the most iconic Krock bands on the Korean music scene made its debut in 2007 with its debut album “CHEERFULL SENSIBILITY” and the song “Lovesick” which was top of the charts for 6 weeks after its release.
The name of the group meaning “Five Treasure Island“, consisted in its debuts of 5 members LEE HONG KI, LEE JAE JIN, CHOI MIN HWAN, CHOI JONG HOON and OH WON BIN. In 2009 OH WON BIN will leave the group and will be replaced by SONG SEUNG HYUN.
Currently the group consists only of 3 members LEE HONG KI, LEE JAE JIN and CHOI MIN HWAN. SONG SEUNG HYUN not having renewed his contract in December 2019 to focus on his acting career and CHOI JONG HOON having been arrested and sentenced to prison in a case of rape and exchange of illegal sexual videos.
