The July edition of Arena Homme + offers us a shoot and a more mature interview with some of the dreamies.
“I like how it feels to drive while looking at the sky and the sea.“ says RENJUN between a few photo shots. These three dark-eyed members for this shoot, share in this summer edition of the magazine, what they appreciate in summer: “I like swimming. (…) I was strong enough (younger).“ says JENO. But also the personality traits they consider “cool”: “Someone rich inside rather than in appearance. I want to be strong rather than extravagant.“ shares JAEMIN.
Young NCT also tell about their childhood dreams, and how these have changed since they came of age:
“I certainly did not dream of being an idol. There was a kind of shame around that. I dreamed of being a surgeon. (…) I wanted to save lives.“
explains JAEMIN. On the contrary, for RENJUN we learn that being a celebrity has always been one of his dreams, but from now on his aspirations are “To be satisfied with my person. I also want to travel around the world.”
The photos juggle between biblical references (the forbidden fruit), sensation of strong heat, laziness … We feel the summer sun knocking outside the cramped room where the three idols have posed but above all a form of assertion of their adultism … But don’t worry NCT DREAM didn’t suddenly abandon their share of childhood: “Even if my physical appearance and my skills have changed a lot, I remain a child in my heart. my personality remains the same.“ reassures us JENO.
