HONG BIN: His enlistment cannot be postponed
HONG BIN, who left the group VIXX due to a controversy over the disparagement of fellow idols, will join the active-duty military.
HONG BIN said on his personal August 13th broadcast that he is expected to join the military on August 18th. “I was feeling pressure with the military and thought it was not the time to leave, so I had a conversation with the Military Administration about the postponement of my military enlistment, but I was informed that was no reason for pushing him away.” he explained.
HONG BIN debuted with the members of VIXX in 2012. He said he liked to play games, but at the same time, he hosted personal shows. Then, in March, he was embroiled in a controversy over his derogatory remarks about other members of the idol group on a drunken show.
He has since had a time of self-reflection by shutting down and returned to broadcasting earlier this month. At the same time, the former agency Jellyfish Entertainment said that HONG BIN is leaving VIXX. VIXX has been reorganized into a five member system.
