This Monday, October 19, the group B1A4 of the WM ENTERTAINMENT, makes its comeback with the album “ORIGINE“.
Composed of SANDEUL, CNU, GONCHAN (BARO and JINYOUNG have left the agency to devote themselves to their solo careers), their title track, “Like a movie” represents a change of style for the members who are usually more focused on soft ballads and songs, especially SANDEUL. After several years busy with related activities (musicals, army), it is with great joy that the group returns to the stage, much to the delight of their many fans.
To capture the attention of fans, a 23-second teaser was first unveiled, with a strong sense of immersion and a unique aura in three colors, unique to each member, starting with the scene where CNU hangs someone in a public telephone booth, which sets the tone for their comeback. For the purposes of the MV, they used make-up artists to turn the figurants into zombies, similar to those present in the film Train to Busan. Having never seen them during their preparations, the boys were very surprised to discover them so scary for their music video.

The scene of a girl meeting in a big castle, like a scene in a fairy tale, and the scene where she finds herself confronted by a herd of zombies, adds to the fantastic atmosphere as if, in fact, we were watching a movie. In addition, the release of three videos with completely different concepts before the release of the music video teaser has led to various online speculations about the main story of the clip, drawing more attention to their comeback.
In particular, the clip will be directed by Yoo Seong-kyun of Sunny Visual, who has long worked with B1A4, giving it a sensual and sophisticated visual beauty for this new concept. The title track “Like a Movie” from B1A4‘s fourth album “ORIGINE” is a self-composed song by CNU, which compares the emotions that are felt when time is stopped to become the main character of a scene in the film. The sound effect marking the beginning of the song and the appearance of silent film, create an atmosphere similar to the prelude to a movie, and the delicate and emotional lyrics combine to double the fantastic atmosphere of the song.
Members are proud to see their style mature, each complimenting themselves on their physical evolution made possible with military service, performed for nearly two years. CNU admits that the choice of title was the hardest, to find something that best represents their new concept. They want to pursue their careers by varying styles, because defining themselves, like any other group, as idols, they want to be able to experience everything they want in the future.

The group concludes its showcase with the performance of their track “What is love?”, in all lightness. For this first album in three years, they return with the following tracks: “Origine”, “Like a movie”, “What is love?”, “Diving”, “무둥력”, CNU’s solo, “물방울”, “바람”, “터벅터벅“, SANDEUL’s solo, “너에게 물들어간다”, GONCHAN’s solo, “나르샤”, “Tonigt” ans “더 뜨겁게 사랑할 여름에 만나요”, for their fans, the BANA. Not wanting to leave the stage, the members finally said goodbye, thanking the journalists, their fans, and wishing everyone to stay healthy.
