CIIPHER’s members expressed their feelings on their debut with tears.

Group CIIPHER hosted a fan showcase to celebrate the release of “Annoyeo” on V LIVE on the afternoon of March 15th.
Group CIIPHER (Hyunbin, Tan, Hwi, Keita, Tag, Dohwan, Won), which was produced by singer Rain and became an important topic of conversation even before its debut. The name of the group means ‘those with a password‘, containing the ambition to approach fans in a friendly way off the stage, and also to show off a strong appearance with a password on stage.
The first song, “I like you“, is a song inviting a young woman to feel strong and not to have the feeling of being inferior to men. Rain’s wife, actress Kim Tae Hee, appeared in the music video, garnering attention.
Rain, who was the MC for his little ones that day, asked the audience, “Do you think this is going to work?” after the performance of the title song “I like you“. “Look at CIIPHER reminds me of my rookie days,” he said.
“I’m happy and nervous, and wonder if I can do it right, but I put everything on my plate to make it work. I think that’s what I should believe.”
When asked how they felt at the end of this first showcase, the members expressed their gratitude while not hiding their complex emotions of joy and with tears.
WON moved thanked his parents and Rain, saying, “We are starting all seven, so look forward to it.”
TAG, the little Thai boy of the group said: “I can’t believe it but I just performed in front of you so I understand I made my debut now. I have mixed feelings. I want to say thank you to my parents in Thailand and I want to reward you with great music from now on. ”
HWI thanked his father, who gave him his real name Byung Geun, and another father, Rain, who gave him the stage name HWI. Then Rain said, “Stop saying father. I have my own life,” drawing in laughter as he insisted on saying “Hyung.”
KEITA, who is Japanese, shed tears thinking about his parents who were unable to come to Korea due to Covid19.
“Thank you for your continued support in Japan. I also thank Jihoon for giving me a chance to make my debut.”

Looking at KEITA, Rain said: “You joined our company as an trainee three years ago, and you had practiced in another company for about five years before. KEITA cried like that during the audition. I chose him because I thought he was going to be successful.”
DOHWAN said, “The seven of us have gone to great lengths to be here today, and our parents have also done their best for us. Thank you to Jihoon and the staff at the company too. Thank you to the fans for helping us. will accompany until death. I ask for your support from now on.”
TAN, who made his debut after 11 years as an trainee, shed tears as he thought of his parents. “I told my mom that I’m going to make some money now, and I’m grateful. I love my mom and dad for supporting me.”
Leader HYUN BIN said, “Thank you to the parents and fans of the seven members who have waited for our debut. I also thank Jihoon for giving me a chance. We will work hard and try to be a proud group that will not disappoint no one.”
