Should a minor be tried in the same way as an adult for the same offense or crime? Is the law suitable for this? The drama invites us to reflect on this.

Since last Friday the drama JUVENILE JUSTICE is available in the Netflix catalog. Created by Hong Jong Chan and Kim Min Suk, this new justice drama focuses on cases involving minors.
And everything is not so simple, because indeed, based on the Korean laws in force, the age of the minors is to be taken into consideration in order to determine a sanction adapted to the crime but also to the development of the child.
In the drama you will follow actress KIM HYE SOO, who plays the role of judge Sim Eun Seok, the sentence that sums up her intentions and her way of judging well is the one she repeats:
“I hate juvenile delinquents the most”
Beside her, you will have 3 other judges who will also have their way of seeing and dispensing justice for minors. These four perceptions will allow you to open up and reflect on everything that is going on.
Ranging from murder, to rape, through prostitution or even violence, these things, so sad and yet so real, highlight the failings of society in which justice will have to decide.
Remember that this drama is not recommended for children under 16.
Opinion of the journalist: From the introductory music, and after less than 10 minutes of viewing, you will cling to this judge who will seem unsympathetic to you. The cases follow one another quickly, leaving you no time to breathe, and forcing you to go to the previous episode to know the outcome. A very good drama, causing us to open our eyes and think about all that.
