K-POP FEST 2022: A convivial moment, of exchanges and pleasure

A day of passion in the heart of Paris.

This Saturday, November 12 was organized the K-POP FEST 2022 in Paris – France. KSTATION TV was invited by the Bonjour Korea association which was in charge of this event, and we had a wonderful day.

The event took place in Paris, France, at the Pan Piper, Impasse lamier in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. A place that brought together exhibitors, who came to present their Korean-influenced products, such as the AKORE clothing brand, K-YOUTY beauty products, or even fan art and other derivative products such as T-shirts, bags… But also the presence of different fan bases to present groups and artists of all generations like SHINEE, EXO, MCND, TAN, LOONA, BTS.

The doors thus opened at 10 a.m., letting in the public, who had reserved their place beforehand, and the appetizer of this day was launched around 10:30 a.m. by a performance by the dance collective Rising crew, which performed various titles K- POP, in order to best sweep the different generations. We also noted the incredible presentation of Clyde and Jason who were able to energize the whole day.

Then the public was able to get caught up in the game during a “Random play dance” and the general K-POP culture was also put to the test with a quiz calling on all knowledge of the musical environment. An open stage allowed various other crew to present their performance such as BE-OG, Msn crew, Horizons, YNS, Stormy shot.

We were able to attend the conference led by Vincenzo Cicchelli and Sylvie October, the authors of the book “K-POP, Soft power and global culture” who were interested in the development of K-POP and everything that makes the “Hallyu “. The two authors also fully adapted to the public present and their explanations, embellished with anecdotes, were able to capture the attention.

The end of the day ended with a fan meeting of HWI-JAE, the Franco-Korean couple, star of TikTok. The two young men also took the time, before this fan meeting, to take a tour of the various rooms of the Pan piper space, to meet people. Spending very nice moments and making people laugh.

On our side, we were able to exchange with several French fan bases, such as those of LOONA France, SHAWOL France, BLANK2Y France, TAN France … allowing us to start building new partnerships for even more passion and who knows. of surprises to come. Our favorite of this day is our meeting with the association “Army Mums France“, an association whose members have amazed us with their passion, their production and their desires. Reminding us once again that a passion has no limit.

A passion can be shared by all and is for all, without limitation of age, sex, gender, anything.

Finally, the closing of the event was the showcase of rapper BLACK ON, who did not hesitate to relay in his Instagram story, moments of this show captured by the fans present.
