PARK JINYOUNG will be releasing his first solo album in January 2023!
Actor and member of GOT7, JINYOUNG will be releasing his first solo album in January 2023.
For this first album, which will contain self-written and composed songs, JINYOUNG is planning to meet his fans through a domestic fanmeeting first, before flying off for an overseas tour.
Although he has debuted his musical career in 2012 with JJ Project and then with GOT7 in 2014, his first solo album is only releasing in 2023. Up until now, he mostly contributed to the discography of the group as he wrote songs such as “Encore“ and “Thank you” , or “My youth” and “Wave” where his solos were part of a GOT7 album. When the members decided to start focusing on their solo careers back in 2021, JINYOUNG has released a unique single entitled “Dive” .
In reality, following GOT7‘s departure from JYP Entertainment, JINYOUNG chose a very different path from the other members who all seeked out for a new agency to launch their solo career in music : indeed, he chose to join BH Entertainment to focus on an acting career. Since then, he has been amassing successful film shootings: his frantic pace has led him to play in multiple dramas and films including “THE DEVIL JUDGE” , “YUMI’S CELLS” and “YAKSHA” , already available, and upcoming films “CHRISTMAS CAROLS” and “THE WITCH” .
Despite of this path, JINYOUNG has always emphasized that he was not giving up on music, and that BH Entertainment, an acting agency, was ready to support this path, as he has shown with “Dive” .
Upon this news, fans only have to wait a few months to get to know JINYOUNG as a musician again!
