KEP1ER: Participation and consecration in Japan
The group KEP1ER will perform at the Japanese Record Awards.

According to Japanese TBS, KEP1ER will attend the 64th “Japan Record Awards” and perform “Wa da da.”
The “Japanese Record Awards” is an awards ceremony with a long tradition and authority that began in 1959 and lasted until the 64th anniversary this year. It is organized by the Japan Composers Association and the winners are selected by voting by journalists from each media.
Earlier, KEP1ER received Japan Record Association gold album certification with over 100,000 cumulative shipments in September with their debut single “FLY-UP.”
The first song “Wa da da” was certified platinum by the Japan Record Association, surpassing 100 million cumulative plays in Japan. Additionally, they were the only K-pop idol group to be named seventh in the “Top Music Video Ranking 2022 in Japan” at the “YouTube Fanfest Japan 2022” announced on December 6.
