SEVENTEEN: A new certification for “DREAM”
Group SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino) have once again proven its unparalleled popularity in Japan.

According to the Japan Record Association, on February 10, SEVENTEEN’s debut EP album “DREAM” released on November 9 last year exceeded one million cumulative shipments in January 2023, achieving “Million” certification. This is the first time that SEVENTEEN has been certified as a “Million” album by the Japan Record Association.
Additionally, SEVENTEEN’s 9th mini album “ATTACCA”, released in October 2021, has been certified “Double Platinum” awarded with more than 500,000 cumulative shipments.
SEVENTEEN said, “It’s thanks to the CARATs (name of the fandom) that we got our first million certification. Thank you very much. We will also try to bring great music and performances to many people this year.”
SEVETNEEN received great love for its recently released collaboration song “Betting” with Katori Singo. The song was so popular that it topped 10 major music charts in Japan, including Oricon, Billboard Japan, Amazon Music, and Recochok.
SEVENTEEN’s Special Unit debut single BOO SEOK SOON “SECOND WIND” also topped the Oricon Daily Single Chart (February 6), and the title track “Fighting” (Feat. Lee Young Ji) as well as the song “Lunch” and “7시에 들어줘” (Feat. Peder Elias) topped the charts.
