THE NEW SIX
P NATION‘s group TNX is making a comeback on Wednesday, June 7, with a third mini-album titled “BOYHOOD“.

Composed of members TAEHUN, KYUNGJUN, HYUNSOO, JUNHYEOK, HWI and SUNGJUN, it is during a showcase held in Seoul that the young group returns to the stage to present their new album. “BOYHOOD” comes in two versions: Nostalgia and Deja-vu, instantly immersing fans of the group as well as reporters in a vintage vibe. As usual, the showcase begins with a photoshoot and a teaser presenting each of the members. Now calling themselves THE NEW SIX, only five of the six boys are present to represent the group, with JUNHYEOK currently on hiatus.
The Y2K concept which is very fashionable at the moment in the K-pop universe is felt from the start, as if the members had been thrown into a time machine to make us live or relive moments according to our generations. Whether in aesthetics, musical inspirations or outfits, the Y2K imprint is present. After the photoshoot, the music video for the title track “Kick it 4 now” plays, followed by THE NEW SIX‘s performance on stage under a confetti.
Then it’s time for the group to discuss with the MC and the journalists present, each member having prepared a personalized presentation to show what charms they are made of, to the applause of those present in the room despite the obvious stress of some members who need to take a few seconds for themselves before getting started. First, they start by expressing how much they appreciate this new song, and its retro concept.
Leader TAEHUN discusses the absence of JUNHYEOK, who despite all his good will to be present today, was unable to attend the showcase for health reasons. The group therefore apologizes on his behalf, and hopes that he will return to them quickly. The members are saddened to not be able to be with him at this moment, but they are aware that his health is a priority and are reassured by his frequent messages to the group.
“We made a promise to be on stage again soon with JUNHYEOK in the near future.” – HWI
To discuss back again about a more festive subject, the comeback, the leader is showing a tutorial for journalists who would like to learn the choreography of the chorus, when the members say “kick it 4 now“. They then move on to talk about making the music video, SUNGJUN explains that it mainly focuses on references to the 80s, and focuses on hopes for the future in a retro atmosphere. The leader thus hopes that many people will be able to identify with this genre, whatever the generations, children and parents.
THE NEW SIX then takes the time to answer the reporters’ questions, the first focusing on the group’s references for this Y2K atmosphere, and if the members have received advice from other older artists. SUNGJUN then cites the group DEUX (듀스) and particularly the song “In the summer”. In addition, the boys surrounded themselves with producers such as MIKE DALEY. Thanks to this invaluable help, the group has now succeeded in this comeback with brilliance.
Talking again about their personal presentation, a journalist underlines the fact that it is preferable as the boys did, to have a different individual presentation by members, and asks them where this inspiration comes from. HWI then responds that he hopes he can stay in the industry into his thirties at least, and that having these kinds of small presentations, which also evolve over time, can represent good memories and thus fit into the group records. SUNGJUN therefore regains his self-confidence and redid his little presentation, under the tender gaze of the other members.

It is on this warm moment that the showcase ends, the members leaving the stage after having greeted the journalists present, applauding them for this comeback.
