Some of the participants in Mnet’s “Build Up: Vocal Boy Group Survival” (hereinafter referred to as “Build Up”) have been revealed.

BUILD UP, premiering at 10:10 p.m. KST on January 26, released a new teaser video on January 11, revealing for the first time some of the participants taking on the challenge for the four-piece vocal boy group’s debut members in 2024.
In the video, participants who have proven skills and successful careers, from idol group lead singers to survival experiences, come together to attract the attention of potential viewers.
The 40 participants who met for the first time raised expectations for the program by creating tension from the start, saying: “The power stands out“, “The voice is attractive and I want to have it” and “But I don’t” or “I think I want to do it together.”
YEO ONE, the lead singer of PENTAGON, also attracts attention by challenging “Build Up“. YEO ONE, who showed up with high expectations from attendees, showed great confidence, while expressing embarrassment by saying, “I’ve been on this floor for a long time.”
Also eye-catching are harsh evaluations of candidates who are happy just looking at their faces. LEE SEOK HOON and JAY CHANG, who became vocal masters and trainees in Mnet’s “Boyz Planet” last year, reunited at “Build Up“.
You were able to see singer CHOI SUHWAN who participated in survival Produce X 101 and started his solo career, performing on different stages around the world. We also find the former member of UP10TION, SUNYOUL.
The evaluations of talented people, expected by everyone, were carried out, and the appearance of people with enormous talent who made the judges applaud was also planned. We look forward to meeting the 40 participants who took a winning step towards the debut of the next generation of vocal boy groups and “Build Up”, which will show the true face of the survival masterpiece.
“Build Up” will premiere at 10:10 p.m. KST on January 26 and will be simulcast on Mnet and tvN.
