New singer 1CHIKA will officially make his debut.
On December 28, 1CHIKA will be making his debut in the music industry by releasing his first single and remake album, “하루에도 열두 번“.
1CHIKA, a newcomer from Japan, appeared on Mnet’s survival show “Boyz Planet” last year, impressing K-pop fans with his versatile talents and abilities. In 2022, he was recognized for his performance skills that developed by winning the final title with team HONEY J on Mnet’s entertainment show “Any body can dance”. 1CHIKA, who has shown a global presence, is making a new start as a singer.
“하루에도 열두 번” is a remake of Yoon Gun’s ballad song released in 2020. Adding a modern rock arrangement, the song captivates the ears with a guitar sound that gets louder towards the second half.
1CHIKA’s unique warm and gentle vocals bring the delicate emotions of the original song to its peak while elevating the emotional line of affectionate desire. 1CHIKA’s fresh and in-depth reinterpretation is expected to melt the hearts of listeners frozen in the cold.
1CHIKA is a versatile artist who has studied multiple fields, speaking six languages including English, Chinese, Thai, and Filipino, as well as Korean and Japanese. He served as an MC at “KCON JAPAN 2023” and “KCON SAUDI ARABIA 2023”, and has been active as an actor in Japanese dramas, films, and plays. He also appeared on the Chinese survival show “Produce Camp 2021” and has built a global fandom.
