The family of MINNIE, a member of the girl group I-DLE, is once again making headlines on TV, reigniting speculation that she may be a “wealthy Thai heiress.”

Between her elegant, affectionate demeanor and her refined lifestyle, many viewers have commented, “Anyone can see she was born with a silver spoon.”
On the OTT variety show “Do Not Disturb: (G)I-DLE Season 2”, the members visited MINNIE’s family home in Thailand and met her parents. Her parents warmly embraced her, saying, “We missed you so much,” and shared that she cried a lot during her first year in Korea, showing their deep affection for their daughter. Her brothers also appeared, creating a heartwarming family atmosphere.
MINNIE also made headlines with her candid remarks on MBC’s “The Manager.” She shared, “My family owns three houses. We’re a big family. There’s a gym and even a park.” Fellow member YUQI, who was also on the show, reacted with surprise, saying, “When I visited MINNIE’s house, there were multiple homes.”
When asked about her daily expenses, MINNIE replied, “I use my dad’s credit card. I don’t know the limit, but I try not to overspend.” Her father was once the vice president of one of Thailand’s first banks, and the resort previously run by her grandparents is now managed by her mother.
Regarding rumors that she comes from royalty, MINNIE explained, “I even asked my mom directly — it’s a bit confusing,”before modestly adding, “There are people out there who are really, really rich… so I don’t feel comfortable saying that I am.”

Meanwhile, MINNIE recently made her comeback with I-DLE in celebration of the group’s 7th anniversary, releasing their 8th mini album “WE ARE.” She is currently actively promoting the title track, “Good Thing.”
